Around evening time any Haibane near the entrance of the old home might hear a loud yell and rapidly beating wings that cut off after a second by a dull thud.

Anyone who checked wouldn't have much trouble finding her on the path just outside. A small patch of leftover ice wasn't too far off.

She wasn't hurt too seriously, it wasn't enough to stop her from already trying to push herself back up. Her right hand doing most the work, there was a wince when she tried to use the left to pull at the fabric.

Nagame didn't look when someone appeared, instead she chose to ignore them. Just let them go back to what they were doing. Her hair was doing a good job at hiding her face anyway.
